Description: The Lumen Sages were a clan of European light followers from ancient times. Their affinity is to Paradiso, Light, and the Sun. Lumen Sages were able to enter pacts with angels and utilize the Hierarchy of Laguna as they saw fit. In addition to this, they could also use "Light Speed", mirroring the Umbra Witches' "Witch Time". It is unknown what other offensive capabilities they possessed.

 

Characteristics: Through the harnessing of Life Energy, Lumen Sages were practitioners of magic revolving around the influence of the sun and the evocation of beings from Paradiso. While well versed in the supernatural and Spiritual arts.An all ma;e clan of sages as per namesake but women have now been allowed into their mists , their ranks included only those who could harness life energy by birth, and those who were strong enough to survive their brutal courses of training and study. Those powerful enough to become heiresses of the entire clan matriarchy also undergo an intense duel to prove their worth; the role of leader is also entrusted with watching over the Right Eye Of The World.

 

History: The Lumen Sages were one half of two clans worked hard to maintain the balance of the world's light and dark forces in order to ensure the just passage of time. They paid great respect to each other and, like the Umbra Witches, possessed an "Eye", part of a set which were know as the "Eyes of the World" that allowed them to oversee time itself.

 

Abilities: Lumen sages are very wise.

They channel life energy through feathers and their hands.

They have power over life.

They can summon angelic beings to their assistance.

 

Religion: Hierarchy of Laguna:

 

The true name of Jubileus, as recorded in myth, is actually constructed from unutterable syllables. This is because humans remain incapable of capturing her true glory, as she is the total embodiment of Divine Will. Humanity, bound to the physical world, was forced to depict and describe her in its own tongue. It is supposed that humanity selected the name Jubileus, taken from the word Jubilee, meaning a celebration of rejoicing, in an attempt to turn Divine Will into worldly happiness via repeated recital of her name. As a result of the cataclysmic events of the ancient First Armageddon, of which she sat at the very apex, Jubileus was forced into dominion over the world of Paradiso, governor of the light amongst the Trinity of Realities, and put into an endless slumber. It was from this point that the forces of light and dark began their endless battle for hegemony. The resurrection of Jubileus would trigger a reunification of the Trinity of Realities, fulfilling the desires of not only the forces of light, but also a centuries-old prayer said by those seeking divine intervention.
